Rosalía adds a musical touch to the Louis Vuitton fashion show

Louis Vuitton presented its men's collection for autumn winter 2023 on January 19 in Paris with Rosalia.

In November 2021, Virgil Abloh ‘s death took us by surprise and turned the Louis Vuitton runway show in January 2022 into a unique moment as it was the last one in which the designer was directly involved.

The men’s fashion show presented today is a collaborative work involving filmmakers Michel and Olivier Gondry, visual director Lina Kutsovskaya, stylist Ib Kamara and Colm Dillane, founder of KidSuper.

The parade that caused much expectation among other issues, by the promise of the performance of a world famous singer that has been kept secret all this time, and this morning we knew that the guest artist was Rosalía.

The Spanish singer has put the musical note to this show. We have been able to listen to some of his songs from the Motomami World Tour and he has also added his Spanish touch by including the Bulerías de La Perla by Camarón de la Isla. The artist, dressed in a total off white look, has been in charge of all the music of the show and has had a special role, as she has closed the parade walking through the rooms of the set while the lights went out behind her.

In the men’s fall winter fashion show, we have been able to see an incredible staging with a car that has been the stage for the artist and a house, in which the models have interacted. This set included brand insignia such as the travel trunks.

The looks that the brand proposes in the men’s collection for this winter are in earth tones and burgundy, with metallic accessories. We also saw shiny outerwear and a strong presence of keepall travel bags and a new version of the iconic Christopher backpack that features a trompe l’oleil effect in which the letters seem to fly.
