H.M. King Felipe VI and H.M. Queen Letizia were received by the president of IFEMA Madrid’s Executive Committee, José Vicente de los Mozos, and were able to greet the president of Guatemala, FITUR Partner Country, Alejandro Eduardo Giammattei Falla. Together they toured the various pavilions of the International Tourism Fair, accompanied by other authorities.
From today, Wednesday 18 and until next Sunday 22, a total of 8,500 participants, 131 countries, 755 exhibitors make up this edition of the International Tourism Fair at IFEMA.
Luxury tourism also plays an important role in this 43rd edition of FITUR. On the first day of the event, Mayor Francisco de la Torre and Tourism Councilman Jacobo Florido presented the ‘Málaga Luxury Summit’. A pioneering meeting that will bring together the leading national and international firms in the luxury sector and where the latest trends, products and services will be presented.
This pioneer event in the locality organized by Elite Excellence – Spanish Federation of Luxury will take place on the next March 2 at the Gran Hotel Miramar in Malaga.“With this initiative we want Malaga to be a meeting point for the sector, a reference and a loudspeaker.
