Swiss watchmaker Richard Mille will be the new Title Partner of the Superyacht Cup Palma for the next three years, coinciding with the 30th edition of Europe’s longest-running superyacht regatta. The nautical event will take place from 24 to 27 June 2026 in Palma de Mallorca, marking an anniversary that promises to be particularly significant for the international superyacht sailing calendar.
The agreement brings together two leaders who share the same philosophy based on technical excellence, innovation and long-term vision. The commemorative edition will also mark the return of the competition to its historic location, the recently renovated Club de Mar-Mallorca, an iconic venue for the international superyacht community.
‘Welcoming a Title Partner of the calibre of Richard Mille is extremely exciting,’ said Kate Branagh, director of the event. ‘Their commitment to precision, performance and innovation is fully aligned with our values, and this three-year agreement brings great stability to the future of the regatta.’
Since its founding in 1996 in Palma, considered one of the Mediterranean capitals of superyacht sailing, the Superyacht Cup Palma has maintained a philosophy focused on owners and sporting excellence. The regatta management will once again be in the hands of the Real Club Náutico de Palma, a key institution in consolidating the competitive prestige of the event.

The 2026 edition will also feature a new Multihull division, reflecting the growing prominence of high-performance multihulls within the sector. Among the first names to show interest in participating are boats such as the Wally 100 Inco, the 28-metre Swan Spiip and established champions such as Win Win, as well as the iconic J Class Rainbow and Svea.
For Peter Harrison, CEO of Richard Mille EMEA, the alliance represents a natural affinity between two worlds that share fundamental values. ‘As a maison, Richard Mille has evolved over the last twenty-five years while always retaining the spirit of a close-knit family. In the Superyacht Cup Palma, we find the same commitment to engineering, performance and long-term vision that defines everything we do.’
The collaboration also comes at a strategic moment for the brand in Spain, coinciding with the strengthening of its presence in the country and the opening of a new boutique in Madrid. In this context, the Mediterranean —and Palma in particular— is consolidating its position as a privileged setting for high-performance sailing and for the brand’s international projection.
The return to the renovated Club de Mar-Mallorca also reinforces Palma’s position as the epicentre of the global superyacht industry. The transformation of the port reflects a firm commitment to modernisation and long-term investment, in line with the evolution of an event that has managed to remain faithful to its legacy while adapting to the new dynamics of the sector.
With five divisions in competition — Superyacht, J Class, Café Racer, Corinthian and the new Multihull — the 2026 Richard Mille Superyacht Cup Palma is already shaping up to be a historic edition. An event that will celebrate three decades of heritage in elite sailing and, at the same time, project an ambitious vision for the future of one of the most prestigious events in the Mediterranean.
