The Río & Meñaka gallery will participate in ARCO Madrid 2026, the international contemporary art fair to be held from 4 to 8 March at IFEMA Madrid, which has established itself as one of the most important events on the European art calendar. The gallery will have its own space —stand 9D15— where it will present a selection of works by artists represented in its programme.
Founded in 2018 and based at Conde de Aranda 20 in Madrid, Río & Meñaka has developed a curatorial programme in recent years focused on promoting national and international contemporary artists. Its approach combines different artistic languages and explores new forms of dialogue between contemporary creation and the current cultural context.
At this edition of ARCO Madrid, the gallery will present works by artists linked to its programme, including Marlon de Azambuja, Regina Giménez, Nuria Mora, Ana Barriga, Pablo Merchante, Lara Ordóñez, Uxío da Vila and Irene Molina, whose practices span disciplines ranging from painting and sculpture to installation and drawing.
In addition to its exhibition activity, Río & Meñaka promotes Río & Meñaka Residency, an artist residency programme based in Madrid that welcomes international creators and encourages research, production and creative exchange. This project is part of the gallery’s commitment to generating a working ecosystem that connects artists, curators and collectors.
Participation in ARCO Madrid will allow the gallery to present its proposal to collectors, institutions and professionals in the sector who each year turn the Spanish capital into one of the main meeting points for the global contemporary art market.
With its presence at the fair, Río & Meñaka continues to strengthen its position within the international art circuit, consolidating a programme that combines curatorial research, artistic production and international projection.
