French firm Chaumet kicks off 2026 with a new phase of its iconic Bee line, a collection that delves into the Maison’s historical codes—the bee and the honeycomb—to reinterpret them from a contemporary perspective. Under the concept ‘Reflecting Light,’ the new pieces explore the dialogue between abstraction and figuration, volume and shine, tradition and modernity.
The collection stands out for its use of mirror-polished gold, crafted to intensify the play of light, and for the presence of pavé and bezel-set diamonds, which add depth and visual rhythm. The result is a collection that balances formal sophistication and symbolic power, evoking the abundance, unity and courage associated with the bee emblem.
A constellation of jewels
Four new pieces are added to the collection as the central themes of this season. Inspired by the natural geometry of honeycombs, they combine polished surfaces with high-precision settings, creating contrasts between mirror shine and diamond sparkle.
Among them is a striking, boldly proportioned wrap ring that covers the hand with an openwork and pavé structure, creating an ultra-contemporary silhouette. Alongside it, a second ring—lighter and more casual in spirit—reinterprets the hexagonal motif with delicate touches of diamonds on rose gold.
The collection is completed with two pairs of earrings: one with an ascending design that runs along the ear with gold and precious stones, and another modular pair, designed to be worn in different ways by overlapping honeycomb-shaped motifs. All the pieces interact with each other, allowing for versatile combinations that reinforce the personal character of the wearer.
The bee, radiant
The figurative motif of the bee takes on renewed prominence. Set in pavé and reinterpreted on different scales, it becomes the centrepiece of two pendants destined to become iconic pieces: one in yellow gold with diamonds and the other in white gold with diamonds and sapphires, alluding to the characteristic blue of the house.
The same two-tone aesthetic is carried over to a toi et moi ring and asymmetrical earrings that play with two bees of different sizes, creating a dynamic and luminous effect. These meticulously finished creations reinforce the Maison’s connection to the precious naturalism that has marked its identity since the 19th century.
Reinterpreted classics
The collection also revisits some of Bee’s most recognisable designs with a bolder approach. Larger rings with rounded contours offer a contemporary alternative to the original lines, available in white, rose or yellow gold. The honeycomb motifs, repeated with graphic precision, take on a timeless air.
Among the key pieces is a rigid bracelet with an open structure, now wider and presented in mirror-polished platinum, which elegantly highlights the architecture of the wrist. The line is further expanded with a semi-pavé rose gold ear cuff and articulated hoop earrings in rose gold or white gold, reaffirming versatility as one of the cornerstones of the collection.
With six new designs enriching its Bee universe, Chaumet consolidates in 2026 a narrative where light not only illuminates the jewellery, but also defines its character. A proposal that combines heritage and modernity for an audience that understands fine jewellery as an expression of identity and excellence.
