British fashion house Jimmy Choo presents a new edition of its creative series ‘From the Atelier’, a collection designed to explore the boundaries of contemporary craftsmanship and material innovation through some of its most iconic pieces. In this third instalment—following previous chapters dedicated to embroidery and crystal embellishments—the brand turns its attention to leather, crafted using highly complex artisanal techniques.
The undisputed star of the collection is once again the iconic BON BON bag, now reinterpreted as a true collector’s item. Inspired by a bespoke work by British artist Helen Musselwhite, the capsule collection translates the sculptural delicacy of her paper compositions into four exclusive designs representing the seasons of the year.
The collection transforms the accessory into an exercise in artistic transformation: from paper to leather, from sculpture to luxury design. Each piece incorporates individually hand-moulded elements—flowers, leaves and butterflies—developed using exclusive moulds and artisanal sewing techniques that highlight the artistic dimension of the project.
Originally launched in 2019, the BON BON bag has established itself as one of Jimmy Choo’s most recognisable silhouettes thanks to its distinctive bracelet-style handle and its ability to blur the line between accessory and jewellery. In this limited edition, the brand takes this aesthetic even further, opting for an emotional and sensory interpretation of the design.
The capsule collection visually explores the four seasons through a carefully crafted narrative of colour and materials. Spring is expressed in a delicate ‘Peony’ pink leather, inspired by one of creative director Sandra Choi’s favourite flowers. Summer adopts light tones and finishes gently weathered by the sun, evoking the lightness of summer days. Autumn is built on layers and earthy metallic shades reminiscent of fallen leaves, whilst winter is interpreted through silver leather and metallic accents inspired by frost-covered landscapes.

As an extension of the collection, the brand will also offer a selection of shoes through its Made-to-Order service, reinforcing the exclusive and collectable nature of the collection.
“From the Atelier is an opportunity to explore design in its purest form. It allows us to experiment, push craftsmanship further and celebrate the beauty of the creative process,” says Sandra Choi. The creative director also highlights the conceptual affinity with the work of Helen Musselwhite, particularly her manual, slow approach that is deeply rooted in materiality.
More than just a capsule collection, From the Atelier stands as a statement of intent regarding the value of savoir-faire and emotion in contemporary luxury. Designed to be displayed, collected and treasured, these pieces cement Jimmy Choo’s vision of a design where craftsmanship and art converge naturally.
The collection will be available from today in selected international Jimmy Choo boutiques.
