Luxury, design and innovation came together under the skies of the Cyclades with a single purpose: to welcome the summer season in Hublot style. At an exclusive event in Mykonos, the Swiss brand presented its new creation: the Big Bang Unico Summer 2025, a watch that encapsulates the essence of summer in every detail.
Surrounded by carefully selected guests, international press, friends of the brand and ambassadors such as Usain Bolt – the world’s fastest man – and Mattia Vitale of the DJ trio Meduza, the attendees witnessed an event that transcends the launch of a timepiece. Because the Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 is not just a watch: it is a sensory experience, a nod to sophisticated hedonism and the freedom of unhurried days by the sea.
A light-catching design
This model, with a case 42 mm in diameter and 14.5 mm thick, is crafted in sandblasted orange ceramic, a technical and exclusive material developed by Hublot to offer a deep shine and superior scratch resistance. Its tone is reminiscent of the glow of sunset on the water, while the sky-blue bezel – also in ceramic and sandblasted – evokes the horizon where the sea merges with the sky.
The iconic bezel design with its six titanium H-shaped screws remains true to the Big Bang aesthetic, while the caseback – also in orange ceramic – incorporates a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, revealing the inner movement.
The dial, in an impeccable chromatic balance, combines matt sky blue and orange tones, creating a modern and dynamic visual composition. To match, the watch comes with three interchangeable rubber straps with white lines: one in sky blue, one in dark blue and one in vibrant orange. Thanks to the patented One-Click system, the wearer can adapt his or her style in a matter of seconds, whether for a day at the seaside, a sunset party or a dinner on deck.
The technical heart: Unico movement
Inside, the Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 beats with the precision of the HUB1280 UNICO manufacture movement, a self-winding chronograph with flyback function and column wheel, designed entirely in-house in Switzerland.
With a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour), this calibre has 354 components, 43 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, guaranteeing reliability and performance for days on end. The mainplate and bridges are blue-plated, as is the oscillating weight, which is made of circular satin-brushed tungsten. A technical highlight is the Swiss silicon lever escapement, which contributes to greater precision and efficiency.

The launch of the Big Bang Unico Summer 2025 coincides with the 20th anniversary of the Big Bang, the model that in 2005 redefined contemporary watchmaking.
