Zentrum and Technogym are unveiling a space in Barcelona where wellness is seamlessly integrated into residential interior design

The showroom on París Street redefines the integration of well-being into the home through design, materials, and experience

Wellness is no longer a separate space but has become an integral part of home design. In this context, the interior design firm Zentrum has unveiled its new role as a Technogym showroom partner in Barcelona, under an agreement that transforms its space at 170 París Street into the brand’s only showroom in the city.

The proposal responds to an evolution in the residential sector, where areas dedicated to personal care—such as private gyms, Pilates studios, or recovery spaces—are incorporated into architectural and interior design projects as just another room in the home, guided by criteria of aesthetic coherence, materiality, and experience.

The launch event, held at the studio itself, brought together professionals from the fields of design, architecture, and real estate in a setting conceived as a meeting place to explore new ways of integrating wellness into the home.

Wellness is no longer an accessory but an integral part of the home’s design. Clients are looking for spaces that allow them to exercise and take care of themselves without sacrificing the overall aesthetic harmony,” says Josep Boix, CEO of Zentrum.

Through this collaboration, Zentrum incorporates Technogym equipment into its comprehensive projects, approaching the design of these spaces from a holistic perspective. The goal is for the equipment to blend into the space with the same level of detail as a piece of furniture or an architectural solution, harmonizing functionality and design.

The showroom at 170 París Street, one of Zentrum’s four spaces in Barcelona, serves as a laboratory of ideas for custom residential projects. There, interior designers, architects, and clients can experience solutions that combine spatial planning, lighting, finishes, and equipment, in an approach that places well-being at the heart of the home.

Coinciding with this presentation, Zentrum and Technogym are showcasing the Sand Stone collection, a nature-inspired concept that introduces a palette of neutral tones and textured materials, designed to blend seamlessly into high-end residential environments.

The collection combines various material elements—from stone-effect surfaces and finishes with mineral particles to metal elements in warm tones and natural woods such as beech and ash—that allow for the creation of cohesive training spaces across all disciplines, from cardiovascular exercise to functional and strength training.

This approach facilitates the creation of seamless environments, where the wellness area is not perceived as an isolated space, but rather as an extension of the residential project, in harmony with the rest of the rooms.
