The custom furniture firm Schmidt returns to Casa Decor 2026 with a project developed in collaboration with Lemon Studio, the firm founded by architect and interior designer Marta Miñarro. Following its participation in the previous edition, the company is now presenting a fresh approach focused on creating a domestic space conceived as a unified whole.
The project represents an evolution from the approach presented in 2025, when Schmidt showcased a space designed by Jean Porsche that integrated different rooms into a single environment and was well-received by the public. This precedent marks the starting point for a new proposal that seeks to develop its own language without relying on previous formulas.
For 2026, the collaboration with Lemon Studio introduces an approach in which architecture and interior design are developed jointly. The goal is to articulate a space that transcends the functionality of a specific room and offers a comprehensive interpretation of the domestic environment, through the coexistence of different atmospheres within a single structure.
The project is based on the development of a spatial narrative that incorporates materials, finishes, and custom furniture solutions. The versatility of the firm’s catalog allows each element to be adapted to the design’s needs, integrating different color palettes and configurations within a single concept.
As Marta Miñarro explains, the creative process has focused on constructing a space where the different environments interact with one another, creating a continuous experience. The project proposes a journey that unites architecture and interior design within a single narrative, forming a cohesive whole.
