Vacheron Constantin has added two new automatic models to its Overseas collection, one of the ranges associated with the manufacture’s sporty ethos. The new models feature a 34.5 mm case and are available in two versions: one in 18-carat 5N rose gold and the other in stainless steel.
The new case size aims to adapt the collection to a more compact format, offering greater versatility within the ladies’ segment. The case retains the Overseas’ design codes, including the hexagonal bezel inspired by the Maltese Cross, one of the collection’s most recognisable features.
The 18-carat rose gold version features a dial lacquered in shades of rose gold, with a satin-finished base featuring a ‘sunray’ effect and an outer minute track with a velvety finish. The applied hour markers and hands are crafted from 18-carat rose gold and coated with blue Super-LumiNova.
For its part, the stainless steel version features a dial lacquered in a deep red. The centre has a satin-finished ‘sunray’ effect, whilst the outer minute track retains a velvety finish. The hour markers, applied by hand, are crafted from 18-carat white gold and also incorporate blue Super-LumiNova.
Both watches incorporate a system of interchangeable bracelets and straps, designed to allow for changes in style without the need for tools. Each piece is supplied with three options: a bracelet inspired by the Maltese Cross, a textured rubber strap and an alligator leather strap.
With these additions, Vacheron Constantin expands the Overseas range to include a 34.5 mm size and reinforces the presence of colour variations within the collection, with two distinct interpretations in rose gold and steel.
