Pictura adds the World Cup to its programme at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid

The hotel’s cocktail bar will be showing the championship’s key matches, alongside two dining options designed for two people

Pictura, the cocktail bar at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, will be incorporating the 2026 FIFA World Cup into its programme by screening the tournament’s key matches, which will take place from 11 June to 19 July.

The initiative positions the hotel as a meeting place during the tournament and reinforces the role of its dining venues as part of the overall experience associated with the property. The offering combines match broadcasts with a special selection of food and drinks, aimed at both hotel guests and the local public.

For this programme, Pictura has designed two experiences for two people. The first includes a bottle of wine of your choice from Minuty Prestige Rosé, Minuty Prestige White or Termes, along with a selection of ham with bread and tomato and a cheese platter, for 140 euros. The second option features a bottle of Moët & Chandon Brut, six oysters and a lobster brioche, priced at 230 euros.

The venue, located within the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, forms part of the hotel’s dining and leisure offering and serves as one of its nightlife hotspots. Through this initiative, the hotel is tailoring its programme to an international event of global significance and expanding the use of its communal areas as spaces for gatherings, dining and experiences.

The initiative is part of a growing trend within the hospitality sector to integrate cultural, sporting and social events into the strategy for bringing its spaces to life. In this case, the World Cup serves as a temporary focal point to attract visitors during the summer months and strengthen the link between accommodation, dining and social life in the urban environment.
