Design Miami announces its global programme for 2026, with events in Aspen, Seoul, Paris and Miami

The international collectable design platform is expanding its annual programme with trade fairs, cultural experiences and exclusive events for collectors across three continents

Design Miami has unveiled its global programme for 2026, an international calendar that will bring together fairs, exhibitions, cultural events, experiences for collectors, institutional collaborations and curatorial initiatives throughout the year.

With a presence in North America, Europe and Asia, the organisation is thus consolidating its evolution as an active platform that extends beyond the traditional trade fair calendar, aimed at connecting designers, galleries, collectors, institutions, brands and cultural stakeholders around contemporary collectable design.

The 2026 programme will begin in Aspen with a new private initiative for collectors, presented in partnership with Range Rover. Subsequently, Design Miami will host the second edition of Design Miami Seoul, which will return to the Dongdaemun Design Plaza with an expanded format. The calendar will continue with Design Miami Paris, at L’hôtel de Maisons, and will culminate in December with the main edition of Design Miami in Miami Beach, coinciding with Miami Art Week.

“Today, design is more global, interdisciplinary and culturally influential than ever,” said Jennifer Roberts, CEO of Design Miami. According to Roberts, the 2026 programme reflects “the breadth of conversations shaping the sector”, from the emergence of new voices and regional perspectives to the evolving relationship between design, technology, craftsmanship, architecture and culture.

The first event on the calendar will take place in Aspen in July 2026, coinciding with the Aspen Art Museum’s ArtCrush and AIR programmes. Conceived as an exclusive two-day experience for collectors and guests, the initiative will be organised in collaboration with Range Rover and will include private visits to residences, curated activities, small-scale gatherings and cultural experiences designed to foster exchange within the international design community.

From 31 August to 6 September, Design Miami Seoul will hold its second edition at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, in collaboration with the Seoul Design Foundation. Following the 2025 In Situ presentation, the fair will return on a larger scale with a programme that will highlight Seoul’s growing influence within the global design landscape.

Under the curatorial direction of Hyeyoung Cho, the South Korean edition will revolve around the theme ‘Resonance’, a reflection on design’s ability to convey memory, knowledge and emotions across time and space. The programme will include featured galleries, design presentations, collaborative exhibitions, In Situ projects, Design Talks, VIP experiences and special events.

In the autumn, Design Miami Paris will return to L’hôtel de Maisons from 20 to 25 October 2026. The fourth Parisian edition will bring together international galleries, designers, collectors and cultural figures around a selection of historic and contemporary collectable design. The fair will feature gallery exhibitions, ‘Design at Large’ installations, presentations by partners, talks and an international VIP programme.

Among the galleries taking part in Design Miami Paris 2026 are Galerie kreo, Galerie Patrick Seguin, Laffanour | Galerie Downtown, Nilufar, Salon 94 Design, Side Gallery, Morentz, Modernity, Galerie Chastel-Maréchal, Galerie Maria Wettergren, Pierre Marie Giraud, Hostler Burrows and Thomas Fritsch – ARTRIUM, amongst others.

The annual programme will conclude from 1 to 6 December with the main edition of Design Miami in Miami Beach. The fair will once again bring together some of the sector’s most prominent galleries, designers, collectors and brands, featuring gallery exhibitions, Curio installations, special projects, talks and collaborations focused on innovation in contemporary collectable design.

The Miami Beach edition will be guided by the theme ‘Unveiling’, conceived by curatorial director Charlene Prempeh. The concept presents the fair as a space for discovery, an invitation to observe, interact with and celebrate the innovations that are redefining contemporary design.

Design Miami has also announced that Bank of America will be the Title Partner for this year’s Miami Beach edition. The partnership, which began to mark the 2025 anniversary edition, continues to reflect the bank’s commitment to the future of design and to the creators, collectors, opinion leaders and emerging talents who are helping to shape the sector.

Founded in 2005, Design Miami has established itself as one of the leading international platforms dedicated to collectible design. Its fairs bring together 20th- and 21st-century furniture, lighting and art objects of museum quality, sourced from galleries selected through a rigorous curatorial process, alongside immersive collaborations developed with leading brands and institutions.

With its 2026 programme, the organisation is reinforcing its global focus and its role as a forum for cultural dialogue, supporting both established figures and emerging voices in design, and fostering discussions around the ideas that will shape the future of the sector.
