The second edition of MIAD in the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas in Madrid, recruited Cocinas RÍO with its own space designed by Disak Studio.
In an exclusive stand that combines functionality, gastronomy and sophistication and, with collaborators such as CUPA STONE, TRAE, QUOOKER or PANDO, a modern kitchen of the highest level is incorporated in a rustic environment, combining contemporary elements, thus creating a particularly warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The furniture, made from dark wood with a matt finish, provides a sense of solidity, security and shelter, while chocolate-toned leather accents enrich the textures of the space. A large central island, with modern lines, serves as the focal point of the kitchen. The dark wood of the cabinetry contrasts with the carpeted wall and wide quartzite work surface, highlighting the soft lighting. The details of the furniture and the textures of the environment build a whole that invites culinary creativity, offering a functional, elegant and full of character place.
Through this proposal, Cocinas RÍO seeks to inspire professionals in the sector and visitors, as Pedro Baños, its CEO and head of design, states: ‘we demonstrate that the kitchen can transcend its functionality to become a true centre of design and elegance in the home’.
