Chaumet reimagines its iconic wheat ear motif in new pieces from the L’Épi de Blé collection

The Maison is expanding one of its most iconic collections with four pieces in yellow gold and diamonds that reinterpret its naturalist heritage through a contemporary lens

Chaumet presents new creations from its iconic L’Épi de Blé collection, a line that pays homage to one of the Maison’s most emblematic motifs: the ear of wheat. A symbol of prosperity, abundance and renewal, this natural motif once again takes centre stage in the brand’s creative universe through a refined, luminous and thoroughly contemporary collection.

The collection centres on four pieces—a necklace, a brooch, a ring and earrings—crafted in yellow gold and set with brilliant-cut diamonds. Each piece features a finely chiselled ear of wheat, crafted with particular attention to the relief, texture and movement. The grains, set in pavé diamonds, cast flashes of light that contrast with the warmth of the gold, finished in polished, satin and sandblasted finishes.

The result is a delicate, contemporary interpretation of a historic motif, designed to rest lightly upon the skin. The ear of wheat appears suspended in a natural gesture, as if captured in a single moment, reinforcing the sense of fluidity that characterises the Maison’s organically inspired high jewellery creations.

With these new pieces, Chaumet reaffirms its identity as a naturalist jeweller, a tradition dating back to the Maison’s origins. The wheat ear, once used as a seal by Marie-Étienne Nitot, the firm’s founder, and cherished by figures such as Empresses Joséphine and Marie-Louise, retains its symbolic power intact.

Straddling heritage and modernity, Chaumet’s L’Épi de Blé is an invitation to wear nature transformed into jewellery: a collection designed both to accompany everyday life and to elevate the most special occasions.
