‘The Black Rose’ Batur revealed, featuring 3D printed Rose Gold

Bentley has unveiled a unique vehicle called ‘The Black Rose’, a special commission for a customer and one of only three right-hand drive Batur models.

The Black Rose is one of 18 Baturs produced by Mulliner Bespoke Studio. This car features Mulliner’s specially created ‘Black Rose’ metallic paintwork, combined with a gloss Beluga finish on the top. It features satin rose gold detailing on the front grille, bonnet line, door mirrors, lower body kit and 22-inch tri-colour wheels, along with carboceramic brakes with black calipers.

The interior features dark leather, trim and fabrics accompanied by 3D-printed solid rose gold accents, a first in the automotive industry. These details include the driving mode selector, ‘Organ Stop’ ventilation controls on the dashboard and a steering wheel insert.

Printed gold innovation

Bentley Motors collaborated with Cooksongold to produce pieces using additive manufacturing techniques (3D printing) in 18-carat rose gold from 100% recycled jewellery. The pieces carry a distinctive stamp of authenticity from Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.

The 3D printed rose gold technique is in addition to other finishes available from Mulliner, from titanium to sustainable leather-like textiles made from coffee waste.

The bespoke process offered by Mulliner allows customers to be directly involved in the design of their vehicles, in keeping with Bentley’s historic tradition.

Following the success of the Batur coupé, Mulliner introduced the Batur Convertible in May 2024, limited to 16 units and billed as Bentley’s most powerful W12-powered convertible to date.
