Chaumet celebrates the natural world through the rings in its new “A Journey Through Nature” collection

The Maison’s new High Jewelry collection draws inspiration from landscapes and botanical motifs from different regions of the world, expressed through precious stones, organic forms, and refined artisanal craftsmanship

Chaumet presents “A Journey Through Nature,” a High Jewelry collection that turns its gaze toward the natural world and the Maison’s historic relationship with the botanical realm. Conceived as a journey through different landscapes, plants, and cultures, the collection translates their shapes, colors, and textures into the language of contemporary jewelry.

Within this journey, rings take center stage. Emeralds, sapphires, aquamarines, diamonds, pearls, and tourmalines are woven into compositions inspired by tea fields, verbena, mint leaves, vanilla blossoms, and cinnamon bark. This selection of pieces reflects different interpretations of nature through color, volume, and movement.

Tea Field, a landscape transformed into a gem

The journey begins with Tea Field, a ring crafted in white gold and emeralds that draws its inspiration from the vivid colors of tea fields. The green of the gemstones and the way the volumes are shaped evoke both the leaves of the plant and the presence and movement of water.

Its reliefs and contours lend fluidity to the composition and create an organic-looking silhouette, in which the landscape is transformed into a piece of fine jewelry.

Verbena Bouquet, lightness and movement

The delicacy of the verbena has inspired ‘Verbena Bouquet’, a creation characterised by its flexibility and sense of lightness. The piece features sapphires from Madagascar and Ceylon, whose hues blend into a composition that captures the dynamism of a floral bouquet.

The use of yellow gold, featured for the first time in the Maison’s recent collections, also introduces a new chromatic dimension to the range and lends warmth to a piece in which Chaumet’s jewellery heritage engages with a contemporary sensibility.

Mint Leave, reflections of water and the spirit of summer

In Mint Leave, the Maison combines references to mint leaves with the image of a swimming pool and the reflections cast by the light on the water. The ring brings together aquamarine, diamonds and pearls in a design where geometric lines coexist with organically inspired curves.

The brilliance of the gemstones and the aquatic hues emphasise the piece’s summery feel, whilst the contrast between geometry and nature adds depth to its design.

Vanilla Flower, the delicacy

Chaumet’s naturalist tradition continues with Vanilla Flower, a tribute to one of the most prized plants for its delicacy and uniqueness. Crafted in white gold and diamonds, the ring captures the shape of the vanilla flower through a sculptural design.

The piece thus revisits one of the recurring themes in the Maison’s creative universe: the observation of the plant world as a starting point for transforming flowers and plants into High Jewellery creations.

Cinnamon Bark, lightness and exuberance

The collection takes on a more sensuous style with ‘Cinnamon Bark’, a ring inspired by cinnamon bark and Baroque motifs. Its rounded, voluminous shapes, complemented by a palette of warm tones, make this one of the collection’s most visually striking pieces.

Diamonds, garnet tourmaline and other precious stones come together in a design where the openwork craftsmanship strikes a balance between ornate richness and a sense of lightness.
