Vacheron Constantin presents the new Overseas Tourbillon Deep Red watch

First model in the Overseas collection to combine titanium with a deep red dial

Vacheron Constantin enriches its Overseas collection with a titanium model featuring a tourbillon and a deep red dial. A material that perfectly harmonises with the sporty and elegant spirit of the collection, titanium is a true marvel of robustness and lightness.

Certified with the Hallmark of Geneva and equipped with the ultra-thin calibre 2160, just 5.65 mm thick, the watch features a tourbillon regulator and fits comfortably on the wrist.

The finishes on the deep red dial, characterised by a sunray satin finish and a lacquered flange, enhance the watchmaking character of the model, particularly its tourbillon. This same attention to aesthetics is evident in the finishes on the grade 5 titanium case.

The bracelet features polished link angles and a vertical satin finish, a detail that is also found on the dial. In contrast, the bezel, whose profile evokes the Maltese Cross, features a circular satin finish on a sandblasted ring. This combination accentuates the slim profile of this ultra-thin model, which is only 10.39 mm thick.

Ideal for all types of activities thanks to its lightweight case and slim design, this model features an integrated titanium bracelet with a triple-leaf folding clasp and a comfortable adjustment system.

This system allows the wrist circumference to be increased by 4 mm. To further customise the style of the watch, two additional straps in bright red and white rubber are included. They feature a grade 5 titanium folding clasp that can be changed without tools.

Thanks to its automatic tourbillon calibre 2160, with a profile of just 5.65 mm and a diameter of 31 mm, this Overseas watch stands out for its exceptionally thin case, which guarantees optimal comfort on the wrist. This ultra-thin movement, with tourbillon cage, features bidirectional winding secured by a peripheral oscillating weight with a guilloché segment in 916/1000 gold, providing optimal performance and a power reserve of 80 hours.

This type of construction offers a double advantage: it provides an unobstructed view of the movement and integrates the oscillating weight into the bridges, resulting in a significant reduction in thickness.

Designed to enhance the complexity of the watch, the movement’s finishes offer subtle plays of light across its 188 components, elegantly highlighting its sophistication. The calibre features a circular-grained mainplate; the bridges are decorated with Côtes de Genève and hand-bevelled; the tourbillon cage is delicately fitted; the wheels are grained and the screws are bevelled and polished. All these details demonstrate meticulous craftsmanship and the expertise of Haute Horlogerie.
