Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort is pleased to announce its reopening after a $40 million renovation to enhance the guest experience in all areas of the resort.
Today, the resort presents itself as a reimagined resort with 596 newly designed suites, including 58 swim-up suites, renovated adults-only areas, new dining concepts and extensive upgrades to the resort’s convention center. In addition to these enhancements, the resort has launched new and improved luxury services that will debut at each Paradisus hotel.
Located on the famous Bávaro Beach in the Dominican Republic, Paradisus Palma Real has been redesigned to further integrate with the surrounding nature of Punta Cana.
The 596 suites feature spaces flooded with natural light, combining rustic wood furnishings with earth tones, designed to provide relaxation and serenity from the moment guests arrive. In the new design, an homage to the beachfront location, natural materials and neutral, tan browns have been used to emulate the feeling of sitting on Caribbean sand. Suites range from 48 to 150 square meters and feature spacious living areas, furnished balconies or terraces with garden or ocean views, rain showers and Biology® Smart Skincare brand toiletries. 58 of these renovated suites will be swim-up suites. Guests will have their own swimming pool literally a step away from their room and also a fully furnished private terrace to enjoy the wonderful Caribbean climate.
The resort has also unveiled nine newly designed dining concepts that will provide guests with a wide variety of dining experiences from Asian, Mexican and Italian cuisine, among others.
Of these nine concepts, the resort has introduced two new adults-only restaurants, Flora, which offers artisanal flavors, vegan delights and sustainable km 0 dishes, and Malva, a cozy and casual bazaar-style buffet where guests can savor Dominican culture during breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte.
Paradisus Palma Real will reopen with several new and enhanced guest experiences that will also debut at Paradisus’ other four destinations.

The Reserve at Paradisus by Meliá offers guests access to the adults-only areas of the resort, including private beaches, pools, lounges and a variety of superior dining offerings.
