Nota Blu New Brasserie arrives in Madrid with a new concept in haute cuisine on Claudio Coello Street

The Casanis group opens its first restaurant in the capital, offering Mediterranean-French haute cuisine with a focus on cocktails and produce

Nota Blu New Brasserie has begun its national expansion with the opening of a new location at 10 Claudio Coello Street in the Salamanca neighbourhood. The project comes after its establishment in Marbella, where it opened its doors in 2022 under the direction of Zazou Belounis, CEO of Casanis Group. The concept was born as a contemporary brasserie with music as its central theme and Mediterranean-French-influenced cuisine. The original design was developed by Astet Studio.

The new space in Madrid maintains the brand’s aesthetic identity, with marble, wood, golden tones and terracotta as characteristic elements. The layout focuses on an open-plan environment, accompanied by natural stone pieces and organically shaped furniture. The large windows opening onto the urban environment complete an atmosphere that replicates the visual style defined by the firm in Marbella.

The gastronomic offering, led by executive chef Fabián Cangas, focuses on locally sourced products and minimal intervention techniques. The menu combines reinterpreted classic recipes and signature dishes such as cauliflower salad, tuna sashimi in crispy brick pastry, lobster au gratin, red prawn tartare with caviar, assorted seafood and truffle pizzetta. The offering is rounded off with an extensive wine list and a cocktail menu designed by bartender Colo Linari.

The opening in Madrid coincides with a period of growth for the brand, which in October added its first international establishment in Doha thanks to an agreement with Four Seasons Hotel.
