Madrid is set to welcome a new addition to its luxury hotel scene in 2026. Nobu Hospitality has announced the official opening of Nobu Hotel Madrid on 1 September 2026, with bookings now available for stays from that date onwards.
The brand’s arrival in the capital comes at a time of particular international prominence for Madrid, which has established itself as one of Europe’s most dynamic cultural, gastronomic and social destinations. With this opening, Nobu Hotel Madrid will become the brand’s fifth property in Spain, following its establishments in San Sebastián, Barcelona, Marbella and Ibiza.
Located on Calle Alcalá, between Plaza de Cibeles and Puerta del Sol, the hotel will be situated in the Las Cortes neighbourhood, one of the city’s most culturally distinctive areas. From this location, the hotel aims to offer a direct connection to contemporary life in Madrid, for both international travellers and the local public.
The heart of the project will be the Nobu restaurant, bar and lounge, spread over three levels and conceived as a leading social space. This will be complemented by a rooftop terrace with stunning views over Madrid, designed for enjoying the city’s sunsets in a sophisticated setting. The design of these spaces was developed by the international firm Studio GRONDA, which incorporates subtle Japanese references into an aesthetic concept based on harmony, materials and light. The same firm is also responsible for communal areas such as the reception lobby.
The hotel will feature 50 rooms and suites designed by Studio Caramba, conceived as urban retreats in the heart of Madrid. The interiors will combine warm woods, organic textiles, dark green accents and ambient lighting, whilst floor-to-ceiling windows will offer sweeping views of the city. The Nobu Suite, situated on the top floor, will be the property’s most exclusive accommodation, with 105 square metres of interior space and a private terrace.

The guest experience will include Nobu in-room dining, priority access to the restaurant, Nobu Signature Beds, BYREDO amenities and valet parking on request. The property will also feature a dedicated wellness area and a Technogym-equipped fitness centre, designed as spaces for calm and recuperation amidst the capital’s urban hustle and bustle.
