Hublot and Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto are reuniting in the field of contemporary creation with the launch of the Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo, a new limited edition that delves deeper into the use of black as an aesthetic and conceptual language within the luxury sector.
Unveiled in Nyon, Switzerland, on 7 January 2026, this model marks the fourth collaboration between the two houses since 2020 and the first developed on the Classic Fusion line. The project is conceived as a shared reflection on the reduction to the essential, a principle that has defined both Hublot’s identity in contemporary Swiss watchmaking and Yohji Yamamoto’s trajectory in international fashion.
The watch is distinguished by a 42-millimetre matte black ceramic case, designed to play with light and shadow through precise volumes and contrasting surfaces. The dial features a monochromatic camouflage motif, black on black, which adds visual depth and a dynamic perception of the design without resorting to obvious colour contrasts.
Inside, the model incorporates the HUB1110 automatic calibre, visible through a smoked sapphire case back that maintains the aesthetic coherence of the whole. The strap combines black fabric and rubber, establishing a dialogue between the Japanese designer’s characteristic textile universe and the technical expertise of Swiss watchmaking.
Beyond its technical characteristics, the collaboration is part of a vision of luxury that prioritises durability, creative consistency and meaning over ostentation.
