Hublot continues to build on the aesthetic universe of its Essential collection with the launch of the Spirit of Big Bang Essential Taupe, a new limited edition that marks the fifth instalment in a series conceived around a specific premise: one colour, one design and a single release each year.
The new model takes taupe grey as its central colour theme and applies it to the recognisable barrel-shaped case of the Spirit of Big Bang line, reinforcing the monochromatic aesthetic the brand has been developing since 2022. On this occasion, the collection is available in two sizes, 32 mm and 42 mm, both limited to 200 pieces per model and available exclusively via the brand’s online platform.
The 42 mm version, crafted from satin-finished and polished titanium, features a carbon-printed dial with a combination of finishes that creates a three-dimensional effect. It is equipped with the HUB4700 skeletonised automatic chronograph movement, offering a power reserve of approximately 50 hours.
Meanwhile, the 32 mm model, crafted from satin-finished and polished stainless steel, introduces a new feature to the collection: it is the first Spirit of Big Bang of this size to be presented without diamonds. Its taupe-grey dial with a sunray finish and the HUB1120 automatic calibre, with up to 40 hours of power reserve, emphasise a more refined and essential interpretation of the design.
Both models come with two interchangeable straps, designed to adapt the watch to different styles of wear via a quick-change system. The collection is complemented by Hublot’s 5+5 international warranty, which can extend the coverage to ten years.
With this launch, Hublot continues its exploration of neutral and timeless tones, establishing taupe as a new expression of its contemporary approach to luxury watchmaking.
