Hartis presents its new collection, ‘Tour de Mains,’ in an apartment on Quai Anatole France, open to the public from 1 October until 30 November. This exhibition brings together thirty original pieces designed by Hugo Besnier, founder of the brand, consolidating his first major offering in the luxury furniture market.
The collection focuses on essential everyday gestures such as sitting and leaning, blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative elements. It takes inspiration from nature and organic structures, combining architectural precision with irregular textures and shapes. All the pieces were handcrafted in specialised workshops, ensuring a meticulous design focused on comfort.
Tour de Mains is the result of a patient search: refined and warm furniture that invites people to gather and share. Between the hand that assembles, adjusts and polishes, and the hand that will one day rest on them, the furniture enters into dialogue with living things: with wood, leather, stone, glass and those who shape them. Each piece is carefully conceived and sculpted.
The event features a complementary programme that includes selected works from the Almine Rech gallery collection, as well as intimate dinners in the heart of the Hartis apartment accompanied by infusions from a Korean tea master and Louis XIII cognac, sonatas performed on a Steinway & Sons piano equipped with Spirio technology, unique objects from the Félix Marcilhac and Hélène Bailly galleries, and delicate vases and glassware designed by Sophie Lou Jacobsen.
