St. Moritz reinforces its position as a cultural hub of reference in the world of luxury with the launch of Der Pavilion, a new cultural platform conceived by Giorgio Pace, founder of Giorgio Pace Projects and co-founder of Nomad. The project will debut on 29 January 2026 with a programme that will run throughout the year in different venues in the Alpine town.
Far from the traditional fair format, Der Pavilion is structured as a living and evolving cultural ecosystem based on continuity, collaboration and connection with the territory. Its central axis will be a four-week exhibition model, inspired by artistic residencies, which seeks to foster a deeper relationship between creators, collectors and institutions, accompanying the seasonal rhythm of St. Moritz.
The inaugural edition will take place in the former Hotel Eden, currently undergoing renovation, whose spaces will be specifically redesigned to host exhibitions, design presentations and a section dedicated to contemporary jewellery. In the medium term, the project plans to consolidate itself in a permanent architectural structure, conceived as a new cultural meeting point for the Engadine Valley.
In addition to the exhibition programme, Der Pavilion will extend its presence throughout the city through performances, gastronomic events and special projects integrated into local life. Among the announced highlights are opera performances in the private theatre of the Badrutt Palace Hotel, as well as a floral and gardening exhibition developed in collaboration with artisans and horticulturists as a celebration of the local community at the beginning of summer.
With this initiative, Giorgio Pace proposes a new model of cultural exchange that combines creative excellence, authenticity and a sense of place, reinforcing the dialogue between art, design and lifestyle in one of the most iconic destinations for international luxury.
