Chaumet, the historic fine jewellery Maison with over 240 years of heritage, launches its new Bamboo capsule collection, a tribute to the majestic beauty of bamboo and its rich symbolism in Asian culture. This collection reflects the unique connection between Chaumet and nature, perpetuating its vision as ‘naturalistic jewellery’.
The Bamboo collection, composed of ten unique pieces, combines the symbolism of bamboo – integrity, determination and prosperity – with the exceptional expertise of the Maison’s craftsmen. In a masterful play of contrasts, white and yellow gold engraved in delicate designs dialogue with precious stones such as Australian black opals and tsavorite garnets, creating pieces that celebrate life and movement.
Necklace

Bringing contemporary impact to the neckline, the Bamboo necklace in white, yellow gold and platinum is composed of graphic leaves and stems. Its pronounced ‘V’ shape recalls some of the most modern sketches and pieces of the legendary heirloom, testifying to Chaumet’s signature style of design.
The shimmering gold is enhanced by a magnificent 13.19-carat black Australian opal, whose vivid fire flickers with an original combination of colours, from bright blue to apple green, superbly complemented by tsavorite garnets.
Rings

Three rings play with the same association of gemstones and colours, but are distinguished by their uniqueness.
While the first is topped with a 7.24-carat cushion-cut tsavorite garnet, the second takes up the toi et moi motif in an unexpected way, where the intensity of the garnet is reflected in the fires of the opal. With an elongated shape that accentuates the slender silhouette that defines the capsule, the third delicately envelops the finger.
Earrings

The earrings in the Bamboo collection stand out for their refined design and Chaumet’s masterful craftsmanship. Crafted in white, yellow gold and platinum, they are set with two stunning cushion-cut tsavorite garnets, weighing 2.76 and 2.68 carats, complemented by sparkling diamonds for a captivating radiance. These pieces combine timeless elegance with a naturalistic inspiration that celebrates the essence of bamboo.
Brooches

This rich palette of contrasts is also reflected in three spectacular brooches:
- The first brooch, transformable into an elegant hair ornament, is crafted in white, yellow and platinum gold. It features a cushion-cut tsavorite garnet weighing 5.42 carats, accompanied by two oval cabochon-cut black opals, weighing 3.10 and 3.07 carats, and brilliant-cut diamonds.
- The second brooch, designed as a duo of independent elements to be worn as a pair, combines white gold, yellow gold and platinum. It is set with two oval cabochon-cut black opals, weighing 7.11 and 6.69 carats, as well as two brilliant-cut E VVS1 diamonds weighing 0.39 and 0.38 carats, round tsavorite garnets and brilliant-cut diamonds.
- The third brooch, in white and yellow gold, features a minimalist structure adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds, highlighting its sophisticated design.
Tiara

This tiara in white and yellow gold, set with 4 brilliant-cut DE VVS diamonds, crowns this powerful set of pieces, representing a hallmark of the Maison.
Abstraction combines with goldsmithing excellence in the hand-engraved gold work of the leaves to infuse the jewellery with a vital impulse.
This collection not only celebrates nature, but also highlights Chaumet’s commitment to preserving its beauty, fusing avant-garde craftsmanship with carefully selected precious materials.
