Celebrate World Tequila Day with delicious cocktails

Celebrate Tequila Day this July 24th with the best cocktails from SLVJ restaurants and Hotel BLESS Madrid.

Borja Goikoetxea, head bartender at Grupo SLVJ, and Miguel Ángel Jiménez, creative director of the cocktail bar at BLESS Hotel Madrid, present us with cocktails to celebrate Tequila Day.

The SLVJ restaurants, in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona and Marbella, offer a fascinating gastronomic proposal that is completed with Borja Goikoetxea’s cocktail bar. To enjoy World Tequila Day, Goikoetxea proposes two innovative creations.

Yugen

Tequila Don Julio blanco with Casamigos mezcal, corn syrup, chipotle, togarashi salt, London essence of grapefruit and pink pepper, perfect to accompany your rolls.


Wabi-Sabi

Based on Tequila Don Julio blanco, with miso, rice, jalapeño, green shisho and wasabi cotton.

If you like Margarita, don’t hesitate to try this more Japanese version, perfect to accompany nigiris and sashimis.

For its part, Miguel Ángel Jiménez,at the helm of the creative direction of the cocktail bar at BLESS Hotel Madrid proposes innovative cocktails designed to be enjoyed at Picos Pardos Sky Lounge by Martini, the rooftop The restaurant is located in the most fashionable area of Madrid’s Golden Mile, or in Pinzelada Lounge, its renovated gastronomic space.

Horchata MX

Based on the Valencian drink, Horchata MX features Tequila Patrón with almond rice milk, agave and cinnamon.

This cocktail, in the SUMMER BLESS category, can be found in the exclusive cocktail bar of Picos Pardos Sky Lounge.

Mango Tommy´s

A refreshing cocktail based on Volcán de mi Tierra Tequila, mango shrub, apricot liqueur and fresh lime juice.

A contemporary and exotic drink that will awaken all five senses, taking flavours to their maximum expression.

Rose Rouge

Tequila Maestro Dobel Blanco, Martini Ambrato, Rosolio de Bergamota, Martini Bitter y Litchi.

Soft and sophisticated, this version of the “Rosita” cocktail is treated from an elegant, romantic and feminine point of view. It evokes the best perfumes and their delicacy. Floral notes with a fruity touch and a slightly bitter finish.
