Adidas organises first sneaker design tournament

Adidas, has organized the first footwear design tournament that will be disputed between footwear companies from different parts of the world, and will last four weeks in which we will enjoy great designs and a lot of innovation.

In this championship the different companies of sneaker companies from the United States, Europe and Asia will compete for the “most iconic” sneaker design, which, both the final winners and the winners of each round, will be distributed in limited quantities and made available for purchase.

The championship is organized in a four-round, direct elimination format. Adidas has configured each round so that each company can address a specific topic related to its brand. The contest has been open since February 16 and users will be able to vote for 48 hours to choose their favorite designs. The shoe design that receives the most votes in each of the tournaments will advance to the final showdown.

Participants include Overkill, Nice Kicks, Hanon, END, Xhibition, Footpatrol, Extra Butter, Bait, Commonwealth, Bstn, Kasina, HAL Studios, Politics, Carnival, Offspring and Mita Sneakers who will have to design a different type of design in each round. In the round of 16 , the focus is on the adidas Originals Samba, Gazelle and Superstar. The quarterfinals will focus on adidas basketball, while the semifinals will take on the heritage of Three Stripes running. For the time being, adidas is keeping the theme of the final under wraps.
