A house full of functional solutions with custom furniture

This single-storey villa is full of functional bespoke furniture solutions made by Tegar.

The Gipuzkoa studio Basoko is responsible for the interior design of this contemporary style villa in Ordizia, which occupies a single floor, where quality custom furniture from Tegar has played a fundamental role.

With a warm color palette in brown, gray, white and black, the day area stands out for its great luminosity and the generosity of surface. Kitchen, dining room and living room flow in an open space, with cozy environments delimited by the furniture itself. The adjacent room, for multipurpose use, is separated by glass walls, which allow light to enter and favor the feeling of spaciousness.

A light composition of shelves separates the living room from the open kitchen

The living room has a comfortable L-shaped sofa where you can relax watching a movie and also with a swivel armchair with its pouf, which can be oriented for relaxing moments in front of the fireplace. At the rear of the sofa, a visually light composition of shelves with low cabinets (Tegar) serves to delimit the living area of the open kitchen.

A multipurpose room, with glass walls

By day it is a comfortable office, equipped with a large desk with drawers, which occupies the entire width of the wall in front of the large window. Its glass walls allow you to nourish natural light and enjoy a bidirectional unobstructed view, adding splendor and a feeling of spaciousness both in the room and throughout the day area. On the other hand, this resource shortens the corridor.

At night, this room is transformed. Thanks to the built-in bed, the space becomes a comfortable bedroom. The curtains are closed to add intimacy. The wardrobes, from floor to ceiling, offer plenty of storage space. Its design with white fronts without handles is integrated discreetly.

A bathroom with integrated dressing room:

In the master bedroom Basoko has designed a unique bathroom with built-in dressing room. To bring warmth to this intimate space, the walls have been covered in a wallpaper with a woven effect in blue tones, which combines with the tonality of the upholstered headboard.

The dressing room closets go from floor to ceiling, with white fronts and black handles. The sink cabinet has been made in a light wood tone, with the same black handles and white countertop.

In short, this house made by Basoko is a cozy and contemporary space, full of functional solutions made to measure. The Basoko team highlights “the precision work of the furniture adjustments of the manufacturer Tegar”.
