For the Miu Miu Spring-Summer 2022 collection, Miuccia Prada reinterprets the 1980 New Balance 574 sneaker in a unique collaboration with the iconic and historic brand.
Sneaker fans have to be very happy after hearing about the new collaboration between New Balance and Miu Miu. The two brands have teamed up once again to present the new New Balance 574 .
The New Balance 574 reflects Miu Miu ‘s aesthetic codes and is available in white, khaki and blue, with raw-cut edges that emphasize construction through deconstruction. The sneakers are manufactured in Italy and feature co-branding on the tongue, with New Balance and Miu Miu logos on top of each other.
The piece was unveiled on the Miu Miu Spring-Summer 2022 runway, where this reinterpretation of the technical athletic sneaker, an archetypal closet classic for more than 30 years, became part of the brand’s quintessential rebellious luxury.
In addition to New Balance and Miu Miu, other fashion houses such as Gucci, Balenciaga, Dior or Jacquemus have created their own collaborative collections with Nike or Adidas.
