Circadia is launching its business in Spain with a range of cosmetics based on chronobiology

The US skincare brand is entering the Spanish market with the support of Michael Pugliese, the company’s CEO and grandson of the founder, Dr Peter T. Pugliese

Circadia is launching its operations in Spain with a skincare range based on chronobiology, the science that studies circadian rhythms and their influence on the body’s physiological processes. The brand’s entry into the Spanish market is backed by Michael Pugliese, the company’s CEO and grandson of the founder, Dr Peter T. Pugliese.

The firm develops its treatments based on the relationship between the skin’s cycles and its needs during the day and night. According to the company, during the day the skin strengthens its defence mechanisms against external factors, whilst at night its regenerative activity increases, with processes linked to cell renewal, repair and hydration.

The origins of Circadia are linked to the work of Dr Peter T. Pugliese, regarded by the brand as one of the first researchers to analyse the role of circadian rhythms in skin physiology. This scientific approach has served as the basis for the development of its formulas, protocols and educational programmes.

The company’s range is structured around products and treatments designed to support the skin’s natural cycles. Its formulas incorporate ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, glycerine, niacinamide, vitamin A, vitamin C, peptides, antioxidants and plant-derived stem cells, amongst other active ingredients used in professional cosmetics.

Circadia also works with technologies associated with plant stem cells derived from apple, edelweiss, gardenia, grape and lilac, as well as with peptide complexes aimed at skin hydration, firmness and texture. The brand integrates these lines of research into its approach to day and night care.

The company also incorporates a focus on sustainability and responsible practices in the development of its products. In this context, Circadia is launching in Spain as part of a strategy to expand its professional skincare model.

Among its key products, the brand highlights AquaPorin Hydrating Cream, recognised at the Harper’s Bazaar 2026 Skin Care Awards. With its arrival on the Spanish market, Circadia aims to position itself in the high-end skincare segment with an offering centred on science, treatment and well-being.
