On 3 November, British group Soho House will open Barcelona Pool House, its third venue in the city. Located on Avenida del Tibidabo, in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district, the new headquarters occupies the historic Bernat i Creus tower, a modernist residence built in 1906 by architect Josep Masdeu. The building has been restored to house a private club with wellness, dining and social spaces for its members.
The new venue includes a Soho Health Club with a gym, treatment rooms, an 18-metre outdoor swimming pool surrounded by gardens and two club floors with a bar and restaurant. Conceived as an environment where members can focus on health and relaxation, Barcelona Pool House incorporates the Lazy Lab, dedicated to longevity and holistic wellness therapies. The opening will bring together a new generation of local creatives, including visual artist Carla Cascales and creator Chidy Wayne.

With this opening, Soho House strengthens its global network of more than 40 establishments in Europe, America and Asia. Founded in London in 1995 by Nick Jones, the firm defines itself as a private club for creative professionals, with memberships that allow local or global access under the Every House programme.
In Barcelona, Soho House has been operating since 2016 at its headquarters in Plaça del Duc de Medinaceli and the seasonal Little Beach House Barcelona in Garraf. The opening of Barcelona Pool House thus consolidates the Catalan capital as one of the few cities in the world with three houses belonging to the group.
