Since its opening, the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid has become the city’s wellness temple par excellence and the idyllic place to relax and unwind. A unique proposal that offers an oasis of peace and wellness to anyone seeking a balance between body and mind.
The already consolidated as the largest urban wellness center in our country, with more than 1,400 m2 distributed in 4 floors, launched a few months ago an exclusive program for collaborating therapists through which eminences in the field of health and beauty offer unique, time-limited treatments to guests and locals.
A new specialist joins the program: Clara Gongsounds, therapist in Sound Healing, a practice that involves an immersive experience in sound. During the session, the body’s harmony is restored and every cell is immersed in the vibration emanating from the instruments. This type of therapy involves an effortless passive meditation in which the sound achieves the integral balance of body and mind, reduce stress and anxiety levels, promotes the processes of cell regeneration and allows to achieve a state of deep relaxation.
“A singing bowl therapy is equivalent to an 8-hour deep sleep and is a pleasant and totally immersive experience,” adds expert therapist Clara Gongsounds.
In addition, its benefits also include improved memory and a reduced risk of heart disease and stroke.
Duration and price of the session: 250€ (60 minutes).
Availability: October 26 and 27.
“We are working on offering inclusive services and have tried to offer a form of meditation and relaxation that differs from the more well-known methods, such as yoga or meditation. With Clara’s arrival to the program of collaborating therapists, we want to give recognition to this discipline. I loved the feeling I got during the test session. I think it is an unknown technique, which still has a long way to go and I want to help to make it known. This technique is ancient, it uses sounds and vibrations, not only to relax the body, but also to free our mind,” adds Virginia Cogliati, director of Spa and Wellness at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid.
