Paris Haute Couture week turned into a party during the Valentino fashion show. Under the name “Le Club Couture” the brand wanted to make this fashion show a party based on the 80s, which is why it presented its collection in the club located under the Alexandre III Bridge in Paris.
In this fashion show the designer, Pierpaolo Piccioli, has played with the DNA of the Maison reinterpreting the key elements that have given him so much fame and updating them to today’s trends.
On the catwalk we have seen an explosion of colour, from pale pinks to their strongest versions, through neon. With exaggeration as a flag, we have seen small dresses with oversized masculine blazers and tiny tops accompanied by tulle bows.
The volumes are a key part of this collection, in addition to the transparencies or feathers and accessories such as ties that have accompanied both men’s and women’s looks, as this time Valentino has had 18 male looks.
As great guests at this great fashion party, the parade has had Rossy de Palma, friend of the designer and actresses Anne Hathaway and Ashley Park, the latter known for her role in the hit Netflix series, Emily in Paris, among other attendees.
