Fashion brand Nude Project moves forward in its mission to change the rules of fashion with its new collection in collaboration with Playboy: Heroes of Pleasure. On the occasion of the upcoming 70th anniversary of Playboy magazine, the fastest growing streetwear brand in Spain takes the opportunity to launch its new collection inspired by the rich history of Playboy as well as its creation closer to art. Thirty garments that speak of heroes, legacies and design. Concepts that go beyond simple pleasure, tell a story and engage in a conversation with art.
So much so that the location chosen by Nude Project to do the shooting of the collection is the new home of the artist Felipe Pantone. The Casa Axis is from the mid 70’s, has ‘space age’ touches and avant-garde pieces and has been the setting for an episode of the very famous series ‘Black Mirror’. In addition, this unique session was directed by photographer Javier Ruiz, famous for his saturated color snapshots.
Heroes of Pleasure takes the legacy of the Playboy brand and creates its own expression of pleasure through thirty on-trend pieces. Among them we find T-shirts and tops, the mythical hoodies, cardigans, jackets or jeans. The choice of materials, as well as the creative and impeccable details of each garment stand out. All unique and made with great creativity and art, hallmarks of the brand.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of attending the exclusive presentation of this collaboration and we show you a selection of our favorite garments that will be available on the web and in Nude Project stores from Thursday, September 14.
Marshall Jacket: The star of the collaboration
It is the most desired piece. A genuine leather jacket with embossed playboy logo on the chest and embroidered pattern on the front opening. The lining is a digital print, instead of the classic ribbed knit. For this occasion, Nude Project uses leather with the elastic embossing technique.
This garment has 4 different decoration techniques: embossing, embroidery, stamping or embossing.
Jackson ensemble: Pants and shirt jacket
The set features a yarn dyed cost velvet (yarn dyed) which, unlike the
classic corduroy, has a much more intense and brighter color.
Marine pants: The classy point
The 100% cotton pants with a peach hand, is the closest garment to the classy point of the
brand, very clean in the exterior design and rich in sartorial details in the interior.
Pool Denim pants: The denim in pixels
A 14-ounce denim (weight number) for which Nude Project has worked with a laser that takes a playboy stock photo. It is reworked in pixels so that the contrast in light and dark can be appreciated.
Playboy bunny t-shirt, boxy cut: Striped Pixels
With the same image as the pants, worked in high-density poplin, mixing the
photo with a striped print.
Macauley cardigan: More plush
This garment is characterized by a plush look to follow the market trend. Half striped, half plain, it is completed with a macro patch imitating satin leather. It also has a deliberately feminine opening, although it is a garment conceived without gender.
