Located in the heart of Madrid, on the seventh floor of the Santo Domingo Hotel, this wonderful spot immerses us in an unforgettable adventure, where we can savor a tempting menu while being mesmerized by splendid 360º views of our beloved Madrid skyline. Beautiful sights of iconic buildings such as La Almudena Cathedral, the España Building, or the Tower of Madrid delight us with incredible landscapes that enhance an evening in the heights, perfectly reflecting the famous phrase “From Madrid to Heaven.”
Additionally, the Santo Domingo Terrace boasts a spectacular vertical garden recognized in 2011 as the largest in the world by the Guinness World Records. A beautiful restaurant in a privileged glass-enclosed enclave that has access to a charming terrace offering magical views of the Madrid sky. Romantic sunsets and unforgettable sunsets set the ideal stage to accompany the tempting menu proposed by the Santo Domingo Terrace. A selection of delicious bites with flavors from around the world shares the spotlight with its magnificent signature cocktails that are worth trying.
During our visit to the Santo Domingo Terrace, we start by savoring a delicious appetizer of fabes with clams and borrajas, a tasty stew that warms the body before delving into the tempting menu, which includes options for all tastes.
We continue with an original burrata salad made with a variety of sprouts, creamy burrata, crispy spiced bread, a touch of tapenade and light pesto on a seductive bed of cherry gazpacho reminiscent of salmorejo. A well-composed dish that we enjoy from start to finish, before moving on to try a fun dish of fresh squid and wild asparagus noodles in black tempura. An ideal dish for sharing, accompanied by a delicious chive aioli that adds a pleasant freshness.
Taking advantage of the cod season, we proceed with a supreme cod with green pepper ratatouille, a wise choice that enhances the product without masking it so we can enjoy its exquisite flavor.
Before moving on to dessert, we succumb to the charms of the exquisite Pedro Ximénez sirloin medallions with caramelized onions, accompanied by curious foie gras and mushroom gyozas. An original complement that pairs perfectly with the sensational sirloin, avoiding the typical french fries.
To finish, we opt for pineapple carpaccio with yogurt ice cream, a light, fresh, and delicious dessert that helps cleanse the palate and aid digestion. Highly recommended!
The Santo Domingo Terrace rises majestically in the heart of the Madrid Gran Vía to delight us with beautiful views of the Madrid skyline. A perfect plan for when what you seek is to disconnect and simply ENJOY.
