Ostería Bravíssimo, a travelling kitchen with an Italian essence, introduces new dishes crafted by Chef Miguel Ángel Mateos

Just steps away from the iconic Parque del Oeste, at number fifty-two of Madrid’s Pintor Rosales Boulevard, lies a surprising restaurant named Ostería Bravissimo. This unique concept, rooted in Italian essence, offers a captivating menu featuring a tempting collection of flavours from around the world, creating a delightful culinary journey with options to suit all tastes. Each dish arrives at the table with a touch of flair, always beautifully presented, and now enhanced with new recipes crafted by the renowned chef and culinary consultant, Miguel Ángel Mateos Robles. This charming Navarrese chef, now based in Madrid, delights us with new and exceptional dishes at this enchanting restaurant nestled on the edge of Parque del Oeste.

Our visit to Ostería Bravíssimo began with an eye-catching beetroot hummus appetiser that led us to the starters. We tried some tasty Massala croquettes with a deliciously exotic flavour and fun prawn pops with kimchi mayonnaise and chives that we enjoyed from start to finish. A dish with a slight spicy touch, perfect for sharing, which led us to a very flavourful ossobuco taco with chipotle emulsion that we found delicious. Among the main courses, we also tried the spiced cochinita pibil cannelloni, seasoned with an unusual sweet note that we struggled to fully appreciate.

We finished with their star dessert, a creamy Italian cheese tart that always serves as the perfect final touch.
