The fashion house Loewe has presented a new collaboration with Studio Ghibil, with whom it has already worked on other collections also dedicated to its film classics, My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away.
This time they have chosen the film The Walking Castle nominated for the Oscar for best animated film. That’s why the new ready-to-wear designs feature his characters, in addition to Loewe’s leather accessories, such as the Puzzle and Amazona bags, which are decorated with sketches by Studio Ghilbi, making them true collector’s items.
The creativity to launch the collection has been such that Loewe has launched a mobile game, developed by Stink Studios, to promote the collection. Within this APP, users can interact with scenes from the movie and its characters.
The promotion of the capsule collection also features a special action in the Corner Shop of the British department store Selfridges that includes a culinary experience developed in collaboration with Ghibli.
