Hispano Suiza will participate in Monterey Car Week, where it will unveil the Carmen Sagrera

Hispano Suiza is gearing up to make a significant impact at Monterey Car Week, one of the most prestigious automotive events in the United States. From August 9 to 18, California and its surroundings will become the epicentre of automotive enthusiasm, drawing approximately 100,000 visitors. Among them, collectors, enthusiasts, and celebrities from various fields are expected to gather at this iconic summer gathering.

As part of the renowned Monterey Car Week, one of the standout events will be The Quail, “A Motorsport Gathering”. At this prestigious occasion, Hispano Suiza will unveil the Carmen Sagrera to the American audience. This new hypercar, marking a milestone in the brand’s 120th anniversary celebration, features a refreshed design, 1,114 horsepower, and a 103 kWh battery, representing the culmination of over a century of automotive innovation.

In addition, Hispano Suiza will honour its rich history with the display of the 1938 Hispano Suiza Xenia Dubonnet, an iconic model built on the chassis of the Hispano-Suiza H6B. This vehicle, with a body designed by aerodynamic expert Jean Andreau and handcrafted by Jacques Saoutchik, is renowned as one of the most innovative and extravagant cars of its era.

The 120th anniversary celebrations will also include an exhibition at the exclusive Chairman’s Lounge, highlighting both the heritage and future of Hispano Suiza.

Furthermore, on the evening of Thursday, August 15, Hispano Suiza will sponsor a talk on the electric hypercar industry at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles, held in the Bonhams auction house space in Carmel. The conference, focusing on Hispano Suiza’s anniversary and the evolution of the electric hypercar sector, will feature Sergio Martínez Campos, CEO of Hispano Suiza, and Juan Fernández, CTO of the brand.
