In a gesture that unites luxury with generosity, Chaumet, the iconic fine jewellery maison, and IQ Home, master of design and decoration, stand together at the prestigious Solidarity Xmas Tree event, where the world’s most exclusive brands transform their art into hope. This year, the creativity and commitment of both houses are intertwined in a unique tree, a work that elevates the Christmas tradition to a symbol of beauty, history and solidarity.
The design breathes the essence of Chaumet and IQ Home, fusing the delicacy of the ears of wheat, an emblem of abundance and prosperity that harks back to Josephine Bonaparte’s tiaras, with the deep, luminous blue that distinguishes the maison. Every detail tells a story: the hexagonal base reflects the Bee My Love collection, while the methacrylate pendants and tiara-shaped crown evoke the timeless elegance of Chaumet. A mirror at the base multiplies its splendour, reflecting the light of the jewels and the intention to illuminate the lives of those who need it most.
The tree, crowned by a fan that reflects the values of IQ Home, stands as a tribute to the east wind that caresses the Andalusian landscapes, carrying with it the message of union and hope. Each element, from the spikes to the drops that top the star, celebrates the connection between art and nature, reminding us that luxury can also be a transformative force.
This symbol of generosity will be auctioned on 26 November, with proceeds going to charitable causes that bring light to those facing darkness. Before its final destination, it can be admired at C/ José Ortega y Gasset, 13, in Madrid, from 16 to 25 November.
