The art of the tiara, perpetuated since 1780, encapsulates Chaumet’s unique virtuosity. Aphrodite, the latest creation from the Maison’s workshops, is a haute couture and feminine design meant to capture attention.
With intertwined diamond lines resembling a delicate band of modern and feminine lace, the Aphrodite tiara embodies the exceptional savoir-faire of Chaumet’s High Jewellery workshops.
The design studio periodically draws inspiration from the Maison’s archives, interpreting these references in a wholly contemporary manner. In this case, a gouache study from the early 20th century and a piece from several decades ago made of alpaca, an alloy of metals used to create tiara prototypes, combine to inspire Aphrodite.
Its fluid and ethereal shape, along with the purity of its diamonds, represents an ode to movement, balancing tradition and modernity to achieve a guaranteed effect of feminine elegance and haute couture charm.
