Historic design, contemporary creativity and artist jewellery come together at L\u2019h\u00f4tel de Maisons, where the fourth edition of Design Miami Paris invites visitors to explore different eras through their objects.<\/p>\n\n

Paris has a distinctive way of bringing different eras together under one roof. At L\u2019h\u00f4tel de Maisons, an eighteenth-century mansion in Faubourg Saint-Germain, modern design and contemporary experimentation find a setting steeped in history. From 20 to 25 October 2026, coinciding with Art Basel Paris, more than twenty international galleries form a journey that extends from its salons to the gardens. <\/p>\n\n

French heritage takes a prominent place. Galerie Mitterrand brings together works by Claude and Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier Lalanne, whose figures introduce an imaginative presence into domestic spaces. Laffanour | Galerie Downtown revisits names such as Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, while Galerie Maxime Flatry explores French modernism of the 1930s. Their presentations evoke an era when architecture and the decorative arts shared a desire to transform everyday life. <\/p>\n\n
