The collaboration takes the form of \u201cThe Tea Time by The Macallan\u201d, an experience that reimagines traditional afternoon tea from a contemporary, sophisticated perspective, drawing on the world of single malt whisky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inspired by British tradition, the experience transforms tea time into a fusion of mixology and gastronomy, featuring a selection of cocktails created by The Macallan for 27 Club and a culinary offering designed by the chefs at The Palace Hotel, Madrid. Under the concept \u201cHigh Tea, Low Morals\u201d, the ritual takes on a more light-hearted and cosmopolitan character, in keeping with the venue\u2019s cultural identity, which is linked to the creative legacy of the Generation of \u201927.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The drinks menu includes creations such as The Macallan Iced Tea, with a fresh and aromatic profile, and The Macallan Coffee, a creamier and more enveloping interpretation, with toasted notes and exotic undertones. Both creations are accompanied by savoury and sweet bites designed to enhance the nuances of each cocktail. These include foie gras bonbons with an oloroso reduction, a lobster roll in puff pastry, pastrami focaccia with homemade pickles, tartlets of marinated salmon and yuzu, a brownie Sacher cake with strawberry tree jam, a coffee financier with caramelised hazelnuts, and a pineapple and coconut tartlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the key features of the experience will be The Macallan Trolley, a service trolley designed to bring the brand\u2019s ritual directly to the table. Every order for a cocktail made with The Macallan triggers a personalised presentation designed to bring a touch of drama, intimacy and sophistication to the service. Furthermore, the trolley will also be available in the hotel\u2019s suites via room service, extending the experience to a more private setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
