Circadia is launching its operations in Spain with a skincare range based on chronobiology, the science that studies circadian rhythms and their influence on the body\u2019s physiological processes. The brand\u2019s entry into the Spanish market is backed by Michael Pugliese, the company\u2019s CEO and grandson of the founder, Dr Peter T. Pugliese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The firm develops its treatments based on the relationship between the skin\u2019s cycles and its needs during the day and night. According to the company, during the day the skin strengthens its defence mechanisms against external factors, whilst at night its regenerative activity increases, with processes linked to cell renewal, repair and hydration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The origins of Circadia are linked to the work of Dr Peter T. Pugliese, regarded by the brand as one of the first researchers to analyse the role of circadian rhythms in skin physiology. This scientific approach has served as the basis for the development of its formulas, protocols and educational programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
