Works of art by Kounellis, Zorio, Simeti and Arnulf Rainer dialogue with walls that have seen crusaders, merchants and emperors pass by. Light streams in from the canal water, as it would in a Canaletto painting, but bounces off contemporary materials, marble sculptures, hand-embroidered textiles and structures that seem suspended in a balance between the old and the new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each of the 45 rooms has its own identity. There is no uniformity, no formulas. Some open out like palatial salons, others retreat into the intimacy of a Venetian studio. In all of them, art is not an ornament, but an inhabitant: pieces that age, that transform, that were chosen not for their market value, but for their emotional and aesthetic Their ambition is to turn hospitality into a cultural platform, where every gesture-from the design of a doorknob to the curation of an exhibition-makes sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alessandro and Francesca Gallo, who began their fashion journey with Golden Goose, have created a space here where everything is interconnected: what you see, what you touch, what you remember.
